gone bad, this is the most cost-effective way to bring it back to normal spec

Was taken out of a working ATR 102 - but has NOT BEEN TESTED for a few years now.

Ampex ATR REMOTE CONTROL BOX with about 15 feet of cable   !!!
Someone extended a Remote with short cable by just cutting the cable and soldering in
an extension cable - not eligant in ANY way   (they didn't even shrink-warp the extensions)
But it works just fine.     The Control Box also looks very good.
You install this along with the local machine's Control Box in the #1 connector,
in the #2 Connector position.   Both Local and Remote controllers work together.
